Epoxy Insulator
An epoxy insulator is a high-performance electrical insulating component made from cast epoxy resin, used to provide mechanical support and electrical isolation in switchgear, control panels, transformers, and busbar systems. Epoxy offers excellent dielectric strength, high mechanical rigidity, and strong resistance to heat, moisture, chemicals, and tracking. Typical technical characteristics include high insulation resistance, good thermal stability, flame-retardant properties, low water absorption, high compressive strength, and suitability for low- and medium-voltage applications. Epoxy insulators are available in post, bushing, and support forms to withstand electrical stress and mechanical loads in industrial power systems.
