Battery Charger
A battery charger is an electrical device used to replenish the charge in rechargeable batteries by applying an appropriate voltage and current. It is widely used in domestic, automotive, industrial, and commercial applications for charging lead-acid, Li-ion, NiMH, and other battery types. Common specifications include output voltage (e.g., 12 V, 24 V, 48 V), charging current (ranging from a few hundred mA for small batteries to tens of amps for automotive/industrial batteries), charging modes (constant current/constant voltage, automatic cut-off), efficiency ratings, and safety features such as overcharge protection, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
